Re: What Did You Do To Your Sixxer Today?

The stock height for the wiper blades on my '04 Mustang were too high. I didn't like peering through the blades as I drove. The solution? Easy peasy. Just pull the tab out at the base of the arm and pull up. replace the arm at the disired position. Done. I lose an inch of swipe at the top of the arcs but no big deal.

Re: What Did You Do To Your Sixxer Today?

That's Funny! I am particular about small details. Because of my commercial art background, I can't stand anything that is crooked or out of alignment. I'm not complulsive. (you should see the mess in my garage!) I know there are more important things in the world but those wipers bugged me. Should have done this on day one like ou did!

Re: What Did You Do To Your Sixxer Today?

Back in the Sixties, (yes, I am that old! chuckle ) We would take the wiper blades off and cap the posts with chrome knobs. You still see this with a lot of old school cars. Kind of a neat look. We would stash the blades in the trunk and pop em back on if it started to rain. Saw the caps for sale on the internet recently.

Try 8 year old stock tires in the snow, hit the smallest patch of ice and

Car------------------------------>snow drift.
