Re: What Did You Do To Your Sixxer Today?

Its simple....claybar, wash, wax, and polish the chrome....2 hours of work and you can make around $60. Its best when you get a couple at once because you can do the wash side by side.

Chamois? Mine leaves behind stuff. And how do u care for them? I wash mine after each use and leave a little soap in it, this is what I was told to do.
And shouldn't u wash then clay bar? I feel as though clay barring would rub dirt into the paint and scratch if not washed first.

Re: What Did You Do To Your Sixxer Today?

I do an initial spray dimown just to knock loose dirt...but not a full wash. Washing it all the way can leave swirl marks. So after i clay it i fully wash it....dry it...then wax it

I let my lamb skin air dry...synthetics though i roll up damp and out in a tube.

Detail spray and clay
Wax
Wheels, and cloths down the interior, right now it's in bad shape so when the carpets come out a can really clean hard.

Also what kind of products do u use?

And so u spray it down with water and then towel dry then clay it? Or spray with water then while the car is wet clay it?

---------- Post added at 11:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:19 PM ----------

I use meguiars interior. It gets just as shiny as armoral without the nasty greasiness. And I actually kinda do it in a MacGyver kinda way. I took the end of a pencil and sharpened the eraser to a point and then stuck the microfiber over it and just "erase" the dirt

Yeah I use mothers on the exterior and meguiars on the interior and tires and wheels. And yeah I'm way too cheap to just buy a detail brush even though it's so cheap haha

Looks nicer. How wide is it? Regarding the first wheels 17x8 is too narrow, and if his asking for 500 just buy yourself a brandnew wide rims @ AM then sell your stock wheels for a new set of wide tires. Just an idea. The 6% discount can help you a lot.

Yeah, it's really up to you bro....

Aren't those bullitts just the painted stock bullitts? $500 is kinda steep for me.

You won't buy wheels as often as changing your wiper blades so make sure you choose wisely.
