Re: Car accident in my own driveway!

Did it get into the quarter panel? (Hard to tell from the given angle). If not, the replacement parts are decently easy. Worst case, the quarter panel doesn't look too bad.

Yea the quarter panel wasn't damaged so it should be an easy fix. And to think I was all set up to get my magna flow cat backs Monday morning to get them installed

Get it done at the same time. They will be in the area any way. Looks like bumper, tail light... maybe bumper support. Easy stuff.

Re: Car accident in my own driveway!

Dude that sucks, but I feel your pain. I had a similar thing happen to my previous mustang. My dad backed into it with his truck and completely destroyed the front bumper. Hope you can get it fixed fast!

Geez. Why would you park in your driveway, just asking for some old man to run into you

Yea funny thing is this is the third time my cars have been hit in a driveway. The first time my friend backed up and didn't even look if my car was in his way and the other time my exes parents cut the turn to early and swiped my car. But this is the first time its happened with the new one. Driveways just aren't a safe place for my cars lol.

Re: Car accident in my own driveway!

I bet his insurance, if he has any, will try to say it was your fault because you parked there.

Make sure the shock absorber inside the rear bumper gets fixed (it has thick foam)

That sucks, but it gives you an excuse to change out the taillights if you want.

Just tell her insurance company that it happened before 10am on a Saturday. That automatically puts her at fault because everybody knows, weekends are for sleeping in, not driving! Haha. Good luck man.

Yep they do good thing I don't gotta pay nothing for it and I'm getting a new valence on so that'll save me a few bucks but it's gonna take awhile to fix and I hate driving my car with a huge dent on the back lol
