Zombie Stang ideas

When the living dead come back to life, and humanity is diminished I wanna have some fun. Since that day is coming closer I am planing on building a zombie apocalypse mustang. I was thinking i would make a dooms day foxbody 5.0 mustang with custom evil looking push bar up front so i could mow zombies down, also i would make a front lip splitter that was a blade.
What else should i do?

Definately a hatchback, not a coupe. Could come in handy being able to jump in the back and still get to the drivers seat. Or for passengers. You really gotta go madmax on the whole car if you want it to hold together.

You'll want another fuel tank!.. Might need to go twice as far between fill ups!.. Plus some steel bars on the out side of all the windows!.. Zombies can break windows!..

Alright, hopefully the mustang fashion police don't murder me on this post BUT since we're planning for the zombie apocalypse here, The push bar sounds rad, you should definitely lift it up and throw some offroad mudding tires on that bad boy for riding over the hoards of undead. Also, the hatchback idea is awesome. I'm currently on my second read through of World War Z, so this thread caught my interest. I'm not weird or anything. I just choose to believe the death of our population would be something sweet like flesh eating undead, rather than an outbreak of kitten flu.

Paint it flat black with rubberized truck bed liner or something and a full rollcage

Re: Zombie Stang ideas

Bars on the windows and saw blade spinners on the wheels so you can take out some legs. You might wanna make that push bar more like a triangle style snow blade so it pushes them to the side when you are mowing them down otherwise they will get stuck underneath you and then you will be ****ed.

Well you'll definitely need a double barrel shotgun holster in the center counsel, and a nice louisville slugger in the back!...because every good zombie apocalypse should have a baseball bat beating!...
And your exhaust should exit behind the front tires and have propane flame throwers to burn the zombies that always manage to sneak up on you when you least expect it!..

should have a good first aid kit that consists of: anti virus, bandaids, shot gun shells, a six pack, flairs, gernades

also i would update the windows to 3/4 plexglass bolted in with 1/2 grade 8 bolts. and a sunroof so your passengers can clear the way with the top mounted turret machine gun.

Don't forget the engine!!! Your going to need to install some kinda skid plate underneath the engine bay to protect it from all the guts and limbs that might jam up your pulleys as you're climbing MT. Walker. Lol, also you should add an engine oil/transmission cooler. It allows you to carry a little more oil and keep the temps down when you're on your rampage. A roll cage and subframe connectors would be a good investment too.

I would recommend a sleeper exhaust so the sound doesn't attract hordes of walkers

I say leave it loud. What fun is it to build this badazz machine and not let it loose on the undead.
