Ford Mustang GT vs North American Mustang -hmm...

Does anyone else see simularity in these two pics? I have read where the original Ford auto designer picked the Mustang name as he was a P51 enthusiast.... Coincidence? Maybe it's just me - P51D fan... Ford should develop a cool commercial - I can see it now - P51 flat out on the deck, closeup of the exhaust stacks puffing away, then cut to video of the GT at rpm, close up of the hood vents. Both hauling a$$ off into the sunset. Narrator says something like "Fly a Ford Mustang GT at your local dealership"...

I see where your coming from, and Jack Roush has both, yet Roush was a non issue when Lee Iacocca did his thing! History Grasshopper!
