| Re: how much did you pay for your mustang.
heres what Im working on:
2013 White v6 leather Auto with 203a (MCA Pkg)
+
Performance pkg,
comfort pkg,
rear camera,
MSRP is 31715 and theres 1000 discount right now. so 30,715.
Im just under invoice (minus 1000) at 28,000 flat.
with my trade that I own outright at 8k (im happy with that), and TTL+doc im out the door at 22,200.
Theyve seen my cards, they know im trading and they know im pre-financed (1.9x60 @ Penfed)....so, do I have any more room here? I dont have a coupon but I guarantee they have some extras. Preferibly, I want this to be at exactly 21,000 OTD. Is there enough room left for them to bring me to a total of $1400 under invoice? I know they can stuff extra on my trade, but like i said the 8k is fair and reasonable and possibly high already.
Is 26,800-27,000 a possibility on a 30,715 car?
Also, I do have an X-Plan code that I havent mentioned. I know that getting the car at 27,000 or 26,800 is already below xplan (invoice +100), but does having that code help them crunch their #s allowing more negotiation?

Having X-plan restricts them from charging you more than $100 for tags/license/document fees. It's in the fine print on it. So, if they lack to tack on charges, it can help you. Also, taxes is usually added prior to any discounts or trade-ins.
That said, the $750 brochure coupon and negotiating a bit more on your trade is probably all you can do. If they're below invoice, I doubt you can strangle much more out of them.

I don't think you can use someone else's brochure. It has your name on the coupon and such. I ordered mine and got it about a week before my car was delivered. Made for an awesome day. |

Go to Ford.com click send me info they usually will send you private cash. That's the only way I figured out how I get the offer.

I got my white 2013 with 0 miles on it with tech package/driving lights, m6 and dealer tinted windows for $21,400 before tax, titile etc. Also through in some cards for detailing and oil changes... They gave me all the Ford incentives.. I think I did OK. They gave me more for my trade than I had hoped for but they were kinda forced too I guess.. I traded in a 2006 Mustang GT Premium and got $17,000 for it. My GT was pretty heavily modded and had only 26,100 on it. Dealer messed up my car pretty bad and forgot to hook up engine fan after they serviced car. The check engine light came on their test ride but they just cleared the code and sent me on my way... Needless to say 115 degrees outside and miles of traffic toasted my motor.... So... They offered to deal on a 2013 and gave me X-Plan/Fleet pricing. They will auction off my old car with the damage they caused and I highly doubt they will get what they gave me for mine. That being said maybe they will IDK.. Bitter sweet because I loved my old car but this one is nice and I hope to have good times in it. I Won't mention the dealer but if you look at the pics of the back of the new car you can figure it out.
This is my first post here too. I live in Az.

Had a 79' Chevy C-10, paid $400 for it. Pulled up at the store one day and guy said it sounded BA & wanted it. It was a rough looking slow 8 mpg truck, offered to trade a mustang for it. I met up w/ him later that night and swapped titles before even driving it. Listened to it run & only had 102k actual miles. It was really rough looking but with a little tlc and elbow greese I took her in before/after pics. Had to replace a window, got them re tinted, Complete stereo wiring overhaul + upgraded w/ subs, took off the decals, vht'd headlights & taillights, installed 10k hids, re-painted rear passenger side panels, bought 01' GT rims & plasti-dipped them along with all the little vents, pony emblem, and rear valance. Few other things I'm sure I'm missing but that's most of it lol. I'll prolly never run across a better deal in my life and still own it! Currently found an 03' GT, 5spd dark grey metallic, 108k mi super clean for 6k. Can't pass it up! Getting it next week

That is thinking smart. Insurance many times is more than the car payment esp. at your age.

I paid $28,500 for my Mini Cooper in 2008
My 2012 Mustang MCA Premium automatic stickered for $31,585.00 Plus Tax and transfer I paid $5,000 flat total out the door difference. (tax & transfer included)
They threw in a free $20,00 mustang cap when I bought the bumper to bumper extended warrenty for $900,00 (six years sixty thousand miles)
I feel I got a really great deal, My Mini was a great car but no cruise control, no automatic transmission, No frills at all other then it being a super fast John Cooper Works model.
I do miss my Mini but I do love this Mustang now that I got it sounding like it should. At least I can now use regular gas and not premium. I averaged 28 to 34 on my Mini and now I'm at 28 to 31 on my Mustang V6 auto. I now have all of the convenionces such as cruise, serious, Ford voice mysync, Auto trans. ( Which I needed to have due to my legs getting worse over the years)
Yep, I'm a happy guy and love my Mustang. Ronnie

I bought my 2011 3.7 with 23,000 miles on it in May, pony and comfort pack. Walked out the door with $20,000 in finances. Got a couple different discounts and a $3,000 trade in, but I added the extended warranty till 80,000 miles for another $1,400.

Ironically I am from Arizona too. I didn't pay for mine. I beat some guy up, disposed of the body and got myself a mustang for 0 dollars. Ok I am jk.
Seriously traded a truck straight across as Kelley blue book said my truck was worth exactly what i owed. I purchased a 2010 V6 premium package Kona blue with 8500 miles on it. I had the option of outside financing from my credit union so I played the cash card. I wound up walking out the door for 18,500 with tax title ect. I've only had my mustang for 4 days. My truck was getting 12 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway so one of my big selling points to my wife was gas mileage since she was pushing me towards a Toyota Camry or Honda civic. I got a much better deal both in total price and trade value with my Mustang.

Bought my 06 GT 2 months ago. 15,092 OTD with 49,762 miles on it. Garage kept with only one owner. Every scheduled checkup and oil change with proof. Interior still looks and smells new. Paint is new looking without swirls or dents. Couldn't be happier. Actually went in there with the intention of buying an 03 Cobra. Couldn't get the loan term to be long enough to keep my payments lower on that old of a car : (
