how much did you pay for your mustang.

I am new here and I figured I would post something. I am a 24year old female and I just recently bought my first mustang. I've been wanting one since I was 16.I ended up getting a 2013 black v6 base. The sticker price was $24,995 but I got it for $19,771.after tax, title and licences I ended up paying $21,296 out the door. Took me 3hrs to talk the guy down but since I was paying cash I knew he wouldn't lets leave without that car. It was his first week as a car salesman and I was his first cash sale. Just wondering how much everybody else paid for their mustang.

Re: how much did you pay for your mustang.

Things are more $ here in canada...

I ordered my 2012 in december n got it delivered in march...

2012 v6 premium pony pckg, 6spd manual
Kona blue
Leather
Hid and security pckg
Mca grille
Intrior upgrade pckg (coloured lighting everywhere, microsoft sync, nice brushed aluminum accent trim throughout interior)

I got 0 percent financing for 5 years, $1000 costco discount, $1250 xplan discount, $33500 out the door (sales tax is 13 percent here) i originally went in for a '13 but i wouodnt get it until july so i ordered one of the last 12s to be built (to my liking, i hate the crap thats on the lot) i also saved about $6000 on interest as they want 6 percent interest for the 13+.

Taxes are high here, 13 percent. The base v6 here was going for 24k, pony pckg was 27k starting. I got a ton of options if i didnt get my discounts itd be closer to 40k....yep.

A base gt here is almost 37,000 sticker.

Its a pain to import american vehicles to canada usually you break even. Especially since u still have to pay the 13 percent tax

Lol you damn americans. Even labour at mechanics is crazy here. Average dealer is $120/hr.

My sticker price was 28000. Negotiated a little and got 2400 for my 2000 v6, so ended up paying like 25500. I don't remember the exact amount

Re: how much did you pay for your mustang.

I think you stole that car... I'm going to end up paying around 22.3k after $1750 incentives, paying x-plan, and TTL. MSRP + TTL on mine is just a hair over $25k. I'll actually be paying a bit less than that since I'm trading in my '10 Malibu (36k miles). I can think of 3 things: You've got a silver tongue, you're easy on the eyes, or the salesman is a sucker. Maybe all three. Congrats.

Honestly, cash sales don't do much for dealer motivation. They make more off financing people than selling things outright. All a cash sale does is get them volume for more allocations and the hope you'll service your vehicle or buy accessories there.

I can't remember the exact price, but it was basically the Edmund's "going rate" before $2,000 off and 0% financing. The 0% was psychologically what I was after. No way that I worked the math had any reasonable rebate trumping 0% over 5 years.

Sticker for mine was over $29k. I had a trade that I was upside down on so I ended up financing more but I got them down to $24k on the actual car. I bought mine when they just came out with 2011 models, in Oct of 2010 and they were more money, no rebates.

The car is loaded, premium package, tech package, came with racing stripes, heated seats, my color, sync, leather package, chrome wheels, you name it. Only thing it doesn't have is nav and projectors.

Since it being my first mustang and all I just wanted a base model.I just love the way they look but once I start learning more about mustangs I might have to get me a all out gt.

Re: how much did you pay for your mustang.

Mine was pretty steep... Sticker was something like $34k, I paid $31.5K out the door WITH A-Plan. Thats was also paid in cash. The only options I could have added to make it more expensive were the glass roof and an auto trans, otherwise it has every other option possible. Sure I could have easily gotten a GT with that kind of money, but I didn't want to be paying out the ass for insurance and also prefer the better mpgs. Oh, also I don't want a base car... everything seems soo cheap in 'em and lacking. I'm sure I could have got it slightly cheaper, but I just wanted to get in and go.

i traded in a pretty badass 2003 infiniti g35 coupe that i ended up upside down on by about 7k. sticker was 21999 talked him down to 19999 on the car plus the 7k from the g35... so out the door was about 27000 for my pony with only 2786 on the dash so im ok with it i love this car anyways lol

I wanted the base cuz it was my first brand new car and once i finish college in 2 years i want to get me a truck or a suv.so its good enough for me.the 2013s base doesn't look cheap inside its actually very nice,i add a bunch of fancy stuff to the inside later but first off i want some bad ass rims.

Re: how much did you pay for your mustang.

Ordered the 2013 MCA Edition convertible, automatic, and with the comfort package (heated seats and mirrors).

Sticker was $34,135 - got it on X plan for $32,198 and then a $500 "loyalty" rebate and another $750 coupon rebate. So $30,948 after the rebates.
