There are a couple companies that are in development on them I believe. That and the 13 tails can be bought for around a 1000 bucks off eBay and they don't fit exactly but someone posted them on here

Right???? Some people just don't appreciate performance.... I can write a whole book on why I bought my car, but most people I've met can't even write one paragraph.

aww i'm sorry...on a brighter note if any of you decide that you want to tour seattle and the olympic rain forest, i will be here for at least the next three years and if you drive here it comes with a free oil change and tire rotation (unless your wheels are staggered) by me and if you have parts along well break open a 6 pack because its time to work.

On a separate note i know a 6 pack makes me sound like a light weight but a wise man once told me that nothing good happens when working on a car after a 6 pack is down.

A guy at my college drives a 98 mustang and I've seen it around with cobra emblems on it but I noticed it wasn't shifting gears well I was at my car and he walked up and said man is that a real cobra lol..... Turns out I was right about my doubts he had a v6 but we talked and I really didn't care if it was a real cobra or not he had a mustang and that's all that counts

I'm sure it looks great but please tell him that mis-badging not only makes him look like an idiot but to those that spank him and think they can beat a real Cobra it makes them look stupid. I know that sounds great to everybody but it saves a lot of idiots from silly street racing just to prove a point

Falsely marking a mustang or any vehicle wrongly by placing emblems giving the appearance it's another model other than what it truly is , Is the ultimate tool bag, loser move. That's like putting 5.0 emblems on side of V6 mustang. Tool bags who do this. One should be proud of there stang, no matter what year or model one has. Its a stang. A freaking mustang!

I didn't do much research on the Mustang I regret it now. Since I didn't leave much $$ for mods.

Bought my first one off the lot with no research and a 10min test drive b/c I needed a car and didnt want another boring POS. That was an '05 V6 & Ive come a long way since then. Always loved muscle, but just due to life circumstances never got a chance to learn as much as I wanted. Thanks to Al Gore, though, we have the Internet now.

Well, that's just great.....lol.

When my base coupe in red candy finally comes from the factory this October/November, I want to swap the standard front grille with a Pony Package grille. I like the corral and bars of that grille, but couldn't get it on the model I could afford. So, will I look like a d-bag poser by have a PP grille without actually having the PP option on the car?

I think most are talking about like if you have a sixer and you put GT badges on it. Or a GT and you put Cobra badges on it. A lot of people change grilles, bumpers, etc.

That is well accepted. As long as you keep it as a piece here and there you should be fine with no d-bag labels.

To be honest I completely understand where everyone is coming from with mis-badging. Ive probably hated on a faux pony myself. However, some like the look of a GT/Cobra and either can't afford or they are fiscally responsible and choose the less expensive product. My 2 cents is to each his own and just understand people will hate. It's your car and money and who are we to judge?
