Mustang Clubs

Good morning and Happy Belated independence day! So far I've been an owner of my first mustang a little over a year and it has become a way of life. Never did I thought there is an underground cult of Mustang lovers. I've been flagged down from mustang owners in the streets and wherever I go there is a love for Mustangs. An American icon indeed.

I've joined 2 Clubs:

1. Mustang Club of America - garden state chapter
2. Misits car club - social club open to all cars an we participate in scenic cruises and events

I find it very valuable for networking and meeting people who knows the cars in and out.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. Lots of clubs here in NY. Eventually I'll start going to meets/shows. My work schedule is horrible for it though..

One bad.. Why not start a club? A bunch of us guys started misfits because some clubs restrict to a certain car only .. We love all cars.. Import, American, even some exotics show up.. We market on Facebook and lately restaurants sponsor to host meets in their parking lots and we get free and discounted food.

I love this thread so far. I've been a long time member of the site, and I have recently met some local owners it's taken all of 3.5 years. I love to keep busy, so I am slowly starting a Mustang club, but I'm at a loss of what to do. In other words where do you all meet? How do you plan your events? How do get members involved? I'm looking at becoming an MCA club down the road but it's not quite there yet.
