new shifter

Hey guys I have somehow shattered my Shelby short shifter in my gt. So now I need to put in a new shifter. Should I go back to the Shelby since they are extremely in sale or is there a better brand that I should look at? I do not have the U bracket that the stock shifter uses to mount the one side to the car since the Shelby doesn't use it and that is what came on the car when I bought it.

Re: new shifter

I just installed a Hurst Billet Comp shifter and love it. It doesn't use any existing parts. It was pretty easy install and shifts great. The billet is a little more, but it seems beefier, so I went that way.
