How long have you had mustangs??

Well this yr marks yr 10 for me since I got addicted to foxbodies, I have had 8 different foxes never a different body style. How long have you all had your current cars or how long have you had foxes? Since so many trade nowadays!!

My first mustang (91 gt vert) had for 6 months, my second (90 gt) had for almost 3 yrs, and my 11 GT I've had since my 23rd bday, so about 1 yr and 4 months now.

Never owned a mustang that wasn't a 5.0!'

I've had my 90 GT since December. My first was a 85 4 banger that I had bought as my first car in 95. Then I bought a 93 vert 4 banger in 99. In between then and now I bought a 77 mercury comet with a 351W. 80 F150 with 351M. 81 f150 302 89 bronco 300 six. Always wanted a 5.0 fox so after my divorce I bought myself my current GT as a Christmas/divorce present.

Well I come from humble beginnings of hand me down cars and whatever a couple of thousand could buy, but I always wanted a mustang. I got my first one in 2000, a 2000 V6. I was going for an older model 5.0 but let the sells man talk me into a new V6. Well I did love it and kept it for 12 years, but I always wanted a V8 and recently brought a 2010 GT at a steal of a price. Im using this as sort of a project car and looking forward to a 5.0 in a few years. Don't think I'll ever be without a stang now. I love all model mustangs and it was a fox body 5.0 back when I was in middle school that got me wanting one way back then.

Me too I've only had 5.0s.
My First one was An 86 satin black got it in 2009.
I traded it this year for the one I'm driving now which is an 87 and it's all white with weld rims.
And they've all been 5speed manuals too.
My first time I drove a mustang with a 302 I fell in love!

12 years ago I was young and got a terrible job assigned to me, I was asked to be a dd to go to and from a block party. Two hours later my crazy drunk obnoxious friend told me to quit being a sissy and drive it like I stole it. So for the last 12 years I have been broke and even dumped a time or two cause I love mustangs I've had two 4.6s one being a 3 valve and one being a 4 valve. I've also had 5 or so fox body's all being a v8

Re: How long have you had mustangs??

I've had Mustangs, almost since they started making Mustangs.

I got the first one in the 70's and my first Fox in the 80's.
I've owned up to a 2005 model, but I keep going back to the Fox Bodies.

Hmm, let's do that math, I'm guessing 2012 means your high school class and most people graduate at 18, so 14+4 carry the 2 divide by pi x mc^2 (the speed of light)....

You've had your car for 11 yrs??? Is my math right?

Re: How long have you had mustangs??

im with you TRV6...my mother's first new car was a 64 1/2 coupe...so I was taken to many a ford/mustang show at an early age...and my favorite toy car was a 1966 coupe done up like a police car....so it was inevitable ...even though my first car was a 1979 T bird with T Tops..it was the start of Ford love from the word go!

my mom remembers me telling her when i was about 5 years old that one day i would have a mustang. and sure enough 10 years later i was lucky enough to drive one. and now, i'll never be without one. I may have a different vehicle in the driveway, but it'll be sitting next to a 'stang.

I've had a mustang for every day it was legal for me to have a lisence plus 4 days. So 8 years, 3 months, 3 weeks, 6 days. Owned a red 94 v6 auto, on the day I dropped it off at the wreakers I bought a black 96 gt 5-speed. Then bought my black 03 mach 1 5-speed before selling my 96 gt. Put 160k km on the first, 250k km on the second and I just got my 30k km on my mach. Lots of fun seat time.

I got my 99 v6 9/14/07 as in early 17th birthday present from my dad. Unfortunetly, on 2/28/11 a semi ran a red light and it was totaled. So i was on a hunt for a new stang and on 3/12/11 I picked up my 02 GT. You know what they say once you drive a mustang you won't want to drive anything else.
