so mad...ugh

So i was driving today and a lady in a old hoopty handai switched on to my lane right at me from on my left i slammed the breaks so she wouldn't hit me she tapped my front driverside and broke my fog light the speed limit there was 50 so it took a while to stop my brakes locked up and i started to slide she jumped back to the left lane and my car continued to slide losing control and went in to the curb grinding for a good while then feet away from hitting a telephone pole but i jerked it to the left just missing it and came to a stop. The lady took off as fast as she can leaving me there. My friend who was following me in his 06 accord was going to run after her but thought me and the guy in my car were hurt so they stopped and ran to us to check. We were okay and the car has scratches on the rims and bottom of the bumpers and side skirts, i also have flat spots on my tires and my alignment turns so much i can do circles in a parking lot -_____- $$$$ i gotta spend that could have been used on mods... im just greatfull we didnt hit that telephone pole... but man... theres alot of idiots on the road..specially in cali.

Yeah i already took the fog lights off and i can live with the scratched rims i just gotta pay for the other stuff now.. and yeah she does im sure she took off because her whole car was already smashed on the front end so she didnt want another accident on her record.. but to not even stop to see if we were okay?? Man some people have no conscience..

Glad to hear you're ok! With a car like that she was probably trying to get home so she wasn't so embarrassed to be seen in it. Anyways from the story it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would be it sounds like you were lucky. Good luck fixing her

I swear everyone that's wrecked their car on this forum has ended up making it better than it was before the crash. Like a blessing in disguise haha

Its because you gotta replace parts and its like ehh might as well spend a little extra to get the better parts haha

Right?

Re: so mad...ugh

talk to your insurance guy, 500 deductible hopefully. you have well over that amount in damages, could end up with new parts/wheels/rims, things fixed etc... for 500 bucks.

Ouch. That really sucks. I had a similar thing many years ago, got run off into the curb. It put a 1/2" hole in my sidewall & bent the wheel. Stupid unaware gardening truck, he took off too.

I'd have that wheel looked at, it looks like your rim got broken and I'd be surprised if the whole wheel isn't bent. Probably ought to have that whole suspension corner gone over, who knows what else might be bent in there. That was a heavy hit.

Im getting my alignment done in a couple of days and imma tell them to take a look at everything.

Then im also looking to get some cobra wheels

All money i gotta pay out of pocket because my insurance told me that they cant help me... i pay them a bunch of money monthly and all i was asking was them to pay for a $70 alignment and they said no:/[COLOR="Silver"]
