Viper security?

Does anyone have a viper security system for there car? I am looking into getting one, but can't decide on which model. Does anyone have experience?

I am looking for a 2 way, so my car talks to the remote, and the remote talks to my car. I am looking for an impact sensor, an inside motion sensor, and a proximity sensor. I don't need a remote start because it came with my car. Any suggestions?

Here's the one I'm considering. And adding smart start for my phone.

It also has remote start built in. The next one down doesn't, in cas you have a stick.

Re: Viper security?

Haven't gotten my Mustang yet but I'm already looking at alarms. I remember all my Chinese relatives (and my own family) had Viper alarms and they were all a pain in the ***. A lot of them went off and wouldn't freaken shut off.

I hope their quality has improved in the past 10 years.

My experience with another vehicle about 7 years ago as well. Always went off without any rhyme or reason. Can't speak for anything recently though.

Re: Viper security?

I had a Viper security system in my last vehicle and it worked just fine. Sensors weren't too touchy like some are. I was happy with it.
