Seat belts? - Mustang Evolution

Seat belts?

The two front seat belts don't retract at all. Especially the passenger side one. How do I fix this? Is it easy? Is this common?

+common. I thought I was the only one but found out a friends and another dudes does the same. My brother told me to turn the ratchet deal from inside the panel, he said getting to it is the fun part.

So it is common haha sweet. I don't know how to take the panel off though ugh

My seat belts are gradually sheering/sawing my neck. One day my head will just fall off.

I'm not sure f I should go out and buy seat belt motors or clean them?

yup very common, go to a pull a part junk yard and find some that work, yank em out and swap with yours or order new, try tousleyfordparts.com for new OEM ford stuff, great prices
