Upgrading cams???

Just looking for some information on this upgrade.
Would be for 03/04 Mach 1

Is doing a cam upgrade worth it? (also ported heads?)And also is it a reliable upgrade and is it healthy for the car? It being a daily driver...(it would breath better yes?)

The cam upgrade wouldn't be for a daily driver and to add sound, and more hp gains... Is this a ideal upgrade for the sound/enjoyment out of it?

Mods for me will only be bolt ons.. Exhaust, short throw, gears, drop in rai, aluminum driveshaft, tower strut brace.

This would be my daily driver( no track time) just kind of wondering if cams would be worth it? Or just stick to the bolt ons...

And how much would it cost me to have a shop put in new cams, roller rockers, springs, ect... What are we looking at price wise?for labor and parts?

Any information on this would help, or any stories of you who have done this.

Just love that growl you get after upgraded cams.
