if its like the 99-04 that also had digital readouts it has to be done every time you get in the car, gets old very quick

Found it on my 2013 V6 premium

Found it on my 2013 V6 premium and on the 2014 V6 base model.
On mine I do not have the Reset button, it is the OK button in the middle of the arrow buttons on the streering wheel. Need to hold the button a couple of seconds and then repeatedly press it til you get to the speedo screen.

This worked for me, wow it had a lot of options! Also, if you hold reset it will revert to normal mode!

It's pretty neat. I wish you didn't have to do it every time though.

I love it, really its not bad at all. I would seldom use it and its not like you are doing anything with your left hand anyways. At least you don't have to pump the brakes a few times like other cars.

If you have a premium, hold the ok button on the steering wheel then turn the key to the "on" position but don't start it. The screen will start as normal then change to engineering mode. Press ok repeatedly to scroll through the options. You can start the car anytime after engineering mode has been initiated.

If you have a base model, use the reset button to the left of the steering wheel instead of the ok button. All other instructions are the same.

After that press reset / OK to cycle between the modes. When you are done, hold OK/reset to return to normal mode.

Can someone post a picture shot of their car with this option up? I'm deployed and a long ways away from my car so I'm curious to get an image of what your looking at. I like the idea.

Gotta admit it would be cool for like a 0-60 video or a drag vid where you could distinguish the MPH. Thanks for posting the picture!

If you press the unlock button on your key fob twice then hold it down. It unlocks both doors, but holding it down will roll both windows down also.

Hey guys, so I tried the above method on 14 v6 premium and it didn't work. I guess that partly because when I turn the key 'on', the first thing that comes up is tpms error since I dont have sensors in my winter tires.

Any guesses how to work around to get that digital speedo?

Are you talking about the windows or the speedo? The window trick doesn't work on Mustangs, they're just trolling.

The speedo does. I have a 13' v6 Premium and it works fine for me.

Lol no not the windows, speedo. Technically youre supposed to get the menu when you turn the key on, I see a tpms error. So I assume with the said trick when you press OK and turn key on, the first thing to appear shouldnt be the tpms error. Hence it ain't working for me.

Any idea as to how I can get away with it?

Oh ya I think the only way to get rid of that is to either clear it with a sct tuner or put on tpms sensors. Other than that I don't know of any other wats besides the dealer or shop to get rid of that light.

Aye I guess I just have to wait till I put my pirellis back on in April. Gotta say I missed their handling, and steering response this winter!
