My first car was a black '71 Nova b/c it was the closest thing I could find/afford at 16 in a cow town in 1987.

Lol, mine was $125 and about 5 shades of brown. The previous owner had been sentenced to life in prison for killing his neighbor over a card game.

It can be (has been) done. I've seen a couple--yes more than one--at the Fabulous Fords show in the past. One was done up as the Mad Max car, the other was stock.

I really like how you can switch on a blower...need to get me one of those...or maybe just the plastic fake blower cover that it had...drop it on my 66 Plymouth and be instabadass...

There are quite a few of the Aussie Falcons in the states, sadly many have been cut up into Mad Max clones...they are a sexy, sexy car.
