If he wants to trade straight across no cash on your part I'd go for it in a heart beat. If you are or have a mechanic that could check it out first though.

Sounds to me like he's been possibly having trouble selling it. I don't know, be careful.

Is your 2010 your only daily driver, that 66 is not a car thats gonna sell quick, unless you luck out or roll it across an auction block. Id slap it back on craigslist for 53,000 and wouldn't take less than 50,000. If i had another daily i would sit on to it for a month or two and have my fun with it before putting back on craigslist.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing like he's trying to sell it for 20 grand off the original asking price there's something not matching up!

If you do not plan on keeping the 66, don't do it!!!!!!! makes no sense, you will not make more money, just sell yours and get the new one.

Why would the owner of the white one want to take a 20,000 dollar loss?? Not that the OP's isn't nice, but I'm saying of that car truly is legit no seller would take a 20 grand loss on a car such as that.

If you are tempted to buy pay the money it costs for a classic car appraiser to come out and inspect it with you!
