Sandys coming what should I do??!!

I don't have a garage and I don't want my new stang getting tore up by sticks and everything else from the storm. My black 2013 gt doesn't need scratches lol

Got any friends with garage space for a day or three? If not, car cover? Good luck and I sure don't envy the predicament you're in.

You might want to change your deductibles and make sure your insurance covers you with this type of stuff. Hurricanes can carry hail too.

Oh and hurry too. Some insurance companies will make rates unchangeable a couple days even weeks before a hurricane is scheduled for landfall, so change it while you can. I usually change mine at the start of hurricane season, and then again after hurricane season.

My neighboring community has a parking garage. I usually go park in a guest spot and walk back to my house lol.

With a storm coming you can be sure insurance companies are in lock down mode.. Meaning no ones getting insurance and no one is changing insurance. Had this issue last year when I bought my car.. Almost had to wait, but because the car I traded had full coverage I was able to transfer coverage.

I put mine in a 10x30 storage unit, first months rent is free, admin fee of $20= total cost.

I dont think youll find a storage facility whose insurance cover vehicles, coverage relies on your insurance.

Maybe in other states they're required to cover it.

Dealer storage is on River Rd near the Shoprite in Hackensack, check the car well during delivery... Preferably daylight

If you do this I am sure it won't be a fitted cover, just make sure you tie it down.. I am sure sandy is really going to be blowing... Hate to see you get a new cover and have it blowed off!

Yup, find a parking garage and park it as close to the middle as possible...colleges and hospitals work good bc you won't have to worry about towing...
