Car cover care?

I bought a car cover from American muscle... Love the fitted cover. Now I read the directions on the care, only use washer with no agitator don't dry, blah blah. My question is those that have a car cover and store there car out side what kind of preventive maint do you do to your cover to make it last, and look new? Really don't want mold growing off this thing he first2 weeks I own it... Let me know

When I first got it I was thinking of taking it and washing it 2x a year.... Would that be enough?

Am3gross,

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your cover! I also am a huge fan of the Fitted car covers. I use one on my 04 Mach1 and the car sits in the driveway outside. The weather will play a part on how often I clean it, I give it a nice cleaning every 6 months. However every hear and there you could take it off and hit it with some soapy water or something like that!

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!

-Dan

I really appreciate the information also. I've been looking into purchasing a cover for mine, down the road, as I don't have space in a covered garage at the moment.

I'd love to hear how yours works out for you, Am3gross.
