Motor noise

My car (01 Cobra) started making a noise somewhere between a knock and a ping when my rpms are at 2500. Anything above that or below and it's quiet. Clutch engaged/ disengaged, moving/stopped, in gear or out. I just had my clutch replaced; could it be flywheel? Any other suggestions.

Just found a video on YouTube that sounds exactly like mine. They said theirs was a rod. I am assuming mines the same problem. What should I change while I'm in there? I am planning to build my motor over time so I want it ready for sc or anything down down the road.
