CAI dont make much of a difference, maybe 3-5 hp on a dyno. I would spend those 300$ somewhere else like springs or a Shifter if you have a manual.

Mods is open to interpretation, power mods, exhaust sound mods, cosmetic? The tune will give you the best bang for the buck IMHO. I went from 13.38 @ 107 bone stock in hot humid air, to 12.43 @ 113 with just a tune and cooler air. For exhaust sound I wanted to stay emissions legal, and I dont care for excessive noise, so I just opted for GT500 Mufflers. Both passes were on factory Goodyear F1's. Personally I do not buy into the " name brand" tunes, so I chose to go straight to the source, and got my tune from

What springs would you guys recommend for staying with stock height but will help eliminate some of the break dive and body sway?

My first mod was Boss Intake Manifold, SCT Tuner, and Airaid CAI. Loved them, but when I added my Roush axle backs I was blown away at how great the car sounded. So, I would go exhaust, and tuner first....

Best questions to ask, to get the best answers. Not everyone will mod their cars like others, , you need to know what you want to do with the car in order to decide your best approach to modding.
If it's gonna be a fashion queen, then cosmetics, if it's gonna carve corners, then tires and suspension, if it's gonna be a boulevard bruiser, go fast goodies.

Im A daily driver and how much? Also off topic but how much trouble will the dealership give me for having a tune just depends or are they all pretty firm on voiding if they see the tune and just dont like it

---------- Post added at 10:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:10 PM ----------

Also not really worried about exterior just sound and hp gains not a show pony

depends on the dealer, it's a safe assumption to say that tune will void warranty, not always the case, but better to assume that than to assume the dealer will fix your issues if the vehicle is tuned

then for $1200, I would go offroad x pipe, tune, mufflers, and boss intake. depending on your choice of brand that may put you a little over the $1500 mark.

not sure how much they want, check the classifieds and PM them

I don't know what gears you have but 3.73 or 4.10s can make a world of difference depending on what the car already has. Mine had 3.15s and its a lot quicker off the line. Otherwise tune is the best bang for the buck, axle backs for sound, flux capacitor swap.

I work with a different approach on all my cars. Get the best you can with the power you have, and when you reach a level that you cant go further, than explore for more power. An example, what good is more power if you cant keep it harnessed? Get used to what you have, look for the quickest and easiest, and cheapest source of extra power, in this case a tune, maximize the potential for the power you have by getting the best torque multiplication through a set of gears, once you have those gears, you will find that the stock power is NOT easy to get traction with, so opt for a set of sticky tires.
Many people are running fantastic times, with sticky tires, gears, and a tune, and for the sound factor your choice of axlebacks, they improve the sound, but dont do much for power. Guys are running in the NMRA, with a sealed stock coyote 5.0, no cams, no Boss intakes, and are in the 9's.

I hate you guys have said that. Every time I look at my car now I see an off road 4x4 jeep.

Now I am going to HAVE to do springs.

Nobody has suggested oil separator yet? Keep your intake manifold clean.

Did the jlt/bama combo wondering if any users cld give me some feed back along w/ year of the car, when the tune was installed mileage wise, an dhow long you've been running it sorry if this is posted else where but cldnt find it.

Just kinda sketchy about doing it being my car is 1) my dd, and 2) has only 8200 miles, current mods only being axle backs. Don't wanna run into any issues being I owe 27k on it. Contemplating if I should sell combo and go w/ just an intake for now till I rack up some more miles

Sorry for the long post.
Any feedback wld be greaaattly appreciated
