You cant beat the quality of coverage and prices of USAA. 160 a month for full coverage on my 03 stang, 98 explorer, and 2010 Taurus, and liability on my sister in laws 98 mountaineer. 500 deductible on all, and roadside assistance.

In fact when I called many years ago to several places looking for a better deal, as soon as I mentioned I was currently with USAA, they all told me that they couldnt come close to the coverage dollar for dollar. Gieco tried to run a policy with the same coverage and it was 4 times the cost!

USAA has been one of the best perks ive gotten from my time in the Army!

USAA is for members of the military and thier families. I have my homeowner's insurance as well as all my vehicles though them, and ive never received a quote that came close to what I am paying. The rates they quoted you may be higher than whatever company you compared to, but the coverage is not equal. Dollar for dollar on coverage and quality USAA can not be beat, but 90% of the time its still cheaper than the other guys. The ONLY exception being for motorcycle insurance, as thier rates are really high. I got a better deal through progressive for my bike. But USAA is higher due to all the young guys in the military getting motorcycles, and then crashing them.

Other companies may offer rates that are lower for some things, but when your insurance adjusters tell you your not covered for something AFTER it has happened, well youll love your policy then im sure!

Yeh. I use their banking but for some reason their insurance quotes were ridiculous. Even with the check back it wasn't gonna be close in the best of years.
