Agreed. Unfortunately buying one now means you're buying an 10 year old car which I don't know if I could justify doing. But if they decided to remake them brandy new that would be just short of the coolest thing Ford could ever do.

I like the 2010-2012 body style a lot. Had you asked me back when the 2005-2009 models were running the streets, I would take the Terminator any day.

While I agree the Terminators are rare, though I see quote a few around CIncinnati and even know someone who purchased one of the summer, that body style around here is EVERYWHERE. I know the Terminator looks different than the GT, but still a majority looks similar. I rarely see 5.0 Mustangs or 2010 GT. I know that will change, but it is nice to be what feels like one of the few on the street.

Had that when I got the 2007 Tundra in late 2006. I don't think I saw but maybe 2-3 other new body style Tundras for near 2 years. Now they are everywhere.

The 5.0 is pretty sexy but the body style of the termi is the sexiest style IMO.
So I pick termi

I'm looking for a termi to buy in January.
1 because of performance.
2 because they are sexy as hell
I had a guy tell me yesterday, not to buy one cause they have had issues. But he couldn't tell me what issues they were. I think he just didn't want me to get one lol. I called BS on him.

Because ford guys hated that truck because Toyota built it based off the f-150 and put a fast engine in it, and it is built in the U.S. more so than the F-150.

It couldn't pull as much as the Ford could by a few hundred pounds but it could pull them faster and stop faster than the ford could.

I'm not a hater, we used to own A couple Toyota's trucks in the 90s they were great trucks.
Our last one we sold to a Mexican that traveled from Louisiana to Mexico then to Chicago with no problems. We sold it to him with a little over 300,000 miles he called us once he reached Chicago and said he didn't have one problem with the truck. Last we heard it was still running fine.

Those Terminators were definitely ahead of their time... Ford definitely future proofed them, cuz they look awesome even today... One of the best looking Mustangs ever built, when the 05-09s were unveiled I was like WTF !! They went backward instead of forward... The 10+ were definitely a nice fix, sharpening the S197s nicely... Who knows what the new 15s are gonna be like... I'm just happy with my 5.0 now, I'm sure it's gonna be what the New Edge were in their time

I love my '13 but I honestly had a hard time choosing, I bought the '13 cash so I could have found a nice used 03-04 Cobra for about 10k less than what I paid for the '13 and had the same or more power..lol it wasnt an easy decision. But i'm in love with the interior of my '13 more than anything haha

I was in the same boat as you. But with all the mods I wanted to do, I didn't wanna get to 40k on a 2013gt. So I bought my 08 Steeda. Has the appearance, performance, handling mods for about 15-20k cheaper than what it woulda cost me for a 13

But now I'm in the hunt to buy a termi in jan-feb

I wish I could have both! Lol I saw a red Termi today while driving my 5.0 and felt jealous for a second or two lol well until I got on the freeway and stomped it haha love my car!

---------- Post added at 08:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:30 PM ----------

And I got my '13 for $28k out the door, title and all. Sticker price was 36k but money talks I guess. I still think I could have gotten it lower though lol

They were gonna give me a 13 for $26,240 + tax. But I wanted upgraded rims. Exhaust. Performance mods. Suspension kit. Body mods. So I bought my Steeda for $22,000 + tax and it had everything on it already lol
