If it's possible, it doesn't make sense economically. Consider an electric conversion instead.

Why would you want to? That would be like taking the bullet and gunpowder out of a gun.
America is the richest country in the world, and also has the cheapest gas. I hate when people complain about gas prices. I don't like them either, but it doesn't drive me to neuter a beautiful car or buy a rice-burner.

Don't ruin such a good car like that. I'm not sure that it's actually possible at all. We may be living in the 21st century now, but that car was made in 1977. It resembles that year. It had technology from the late 70's. Don't change that. It's actually better than any form of vehicle made today. The 70's were a prime-time for cars! They were built strong, to last, and with dignity. Great car though!
