I have the BBK Shorty Headers and the SLP loudmouth exhaust, but i don't know which mid pipe to get. off rode mid pipes are out of the question and thats making the decision even harder. Im trying to go for a nice deep sound.

You need to look up on line for the ones that would be compatable with both different BBK and SLP, since they may not be exactly the same fit as factory parts.

A cross over pipe would help with dual exhausts. It will help reduce back pressure. Thats why track cars run open headers.

Check out the Macperformance.com Prochamber. Its the best of both the H and X pipe.I dont know if they have in a catted setup, check w/ Mac.I have the O/R p/c and the Mac s/s catback on my '04 GT.I really love the sound I get w/ that setup, nice deep rumble @ idle,no raspy tone at all like you get w/ other mid pipes and the roar of serious power when you mash your right foot to the floor.I've tried every mid pipe out there,X pipes,H pipes,catted,O/R and the prochamber is the best.Check it out,go to youtube, type in Mustang prochamber, you'll get an idea of what they sound like.
