Cold Air Intake Question?

I am considering buying a cold air intake for my 2003 mustang v6. I do not know a lot about performance parts and am wondering what exactly will this do to my car in terms of making it perform better. I am considering buying this one off ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=021 and am wondering if it is any good. How much approximately does it cost to get it professionally installed?

Thanks

Cold Air Intake Question?

that is just a short ram intake. it'll work but it is cheaply made. if you want quality, go with k&n. try this http://www.knfilters.com/search/appsearch.aspx

Cold Air Intake Question?

OMG

dude somebody is trying to rip you off...

that's flex tubing you can buy at any autoparts store with a cheap cone filter you can also pick up at any auto parts store...

Performance isn't cheap, if somebody is trying to sell you something for $25, it's not going to do you any good..

Cold Air Intake Question?

you want one with a better intake pipe (actual metal not foil) I wouldn't buy that one you could get a hole and plus you could make that out of a filter and some dryer hose
