All Mustang built from 79-03 are considered foxbodies. Then there are variations based on what equiptment came standard based on year and model (lx, gt, vert). The car in the link is a foxbody Mustang. When buying parts base them off the engine size and the year. The only parts that would require you to include the GT would be interior, and exterior trim pieces.

the term fox-body actually came to be because fox bodies where originally made to compete with the audi fox that wasw out at the time (no competition huh?)

All of the Mustangs in that year are considered "Fox" bodies. The car you linked to is indeed a Fox body Mustang. All it means is the name of the chassis that the car is built on.

All '79 to '93 Mustangs were Foxbodies, regardless of type.

All Mustangs built between 1979 and 1993 are Foxbodys, it is a slang name for the Fox platform.

The best one was the 86 SVO in my humble opinion

Here is a group dedicated to them

"Fox-Body" is just a slang term to denote all 1979 to 1993 model year Mustang. Mustangs from that era are derived off the Ford Fairmont that was introduced in 1978. In answer to your question, YES your car is a "Fox-Body" if it is within the aforementioned range of model years. Hope this helps.
