Im asking because i have a tan top and i want a black top

Yes you can. Long process but it is doable.

Take it to an upholstery shop. The top and back window are two seperate pieces. The only problem with not changing both is the little strip of cloth below your back window is not part of the top. I would go to a parts store and get some vyinl dye and just dye it. A new top is about 1500.00. a can of dye is about 9.00.
