2001 Ford Mustang V6?
well first off it depends on if it is an internal fuel pump or external. probably an external fuel pump because it is more or less a sports car which they usually have external fuel pumps. an internal fuel pump to replace plus labor is going to be a lot considering they have to take your fuel tank out and dissect it to get the fuel pump, that being said internal fuel pump parts and labor cost is probably around 500 dollars because its about 4 hours labor or so= about 70-80 an hour and the fuel pump would be around 200 bucks. if your fuel pump is external, your cost is goin to be much less then that of a internal one. probably around 300 parts and labor, 100-150 for the fuel pump and a few hours labor. i just had my 1990 nissan 300zx's fuel pump replaced and it took me 2 hours and the fuel pump itself was 150 dollars and its an external fuel pump.
internal fuel pump (parts & labor) -around $500
external fuel pump (parts & labor) -around $300
