I have a 2007 Ford Mustang v6 with Pony package. They have 17" Perelli P235 55 R17 tires on it. I have a gash in the time, I think i may have ran over a small piece of metal. The gas is about a inch long, maybe a little smaller and fairly deep. It is not leaking air, but I can't plug it because it is on the outer part of the tread and the front tire. So I need to find a new cheap tire that matches the others.
A tire that matches the others would be another Pirelli. Cheap tires are just that. If you can't afford to put proper tires on a high performance vehicle like a Mustang then I would submit you should have purchased a Cavalier instead. Nothing influences how a car drives more than the tires and by putting cheap tires on the car clearly you don't mind if it drives like a Cav.
