What should i pay for this 66' mustang?

Hi, i found a 1966 mustang hardtop for sale and the guy wants $8500 for it. Its in good condish. 29000 miles, moter was overhauled, new brakes, new seals, new gas tank, and new tires. So what do u think i should pay? thanks for the help, Alex.

What should i pay for this 66' mustang?

A '66 car would have a lot more than 29K miles on it. Do you think he means 29K since the rebuild? Go online to NADA.com or kbb.com and you can get pricing on any style of car imaginable. Also, have a mechanic look at it before you buy it. They'll probably charge you about $50 to check it out but it's well worth it. I never buy a used car without having it checked out first.
