What shifter is best for a 60's Mustang?

I have a 60's model Mustang and while I wait for the motor rebuild, I am trying to detail other areas of restoration.

I've been looking into the Indy shifters from Hurst and
and am trying to find the best for a 3 speed 302
Can anyone tell me a better shifter to use?
( not worried about using original parts)
I'm not trying to completly restore it. I just want to get it running smooth and looking good.
Any advice for me on anything having to do with my Mustang is greatly APPRECIATED.
Thanks

I would stay with original equip. it looks good & works good so why mess with it unless your going to race the car. try looking at mustangsplus.com, they have several shifters to choose from. stock or resto-mod! good luck
