What is this part? (A/C Question)?

1970 Mustang. When looking at the car from the front, to the right of the A/C condenser is a vertical Cylinder that is attached to the condenser. After replacing the condenser, one of the connectors (a screw type connector I don't know the technical term) connecting the tubing from the cylinder to the compressor broke. It appears that I have to buy a new cylinder but I don't know what it is or where I can find one online or anywhere. Please help me out! Thanks

That would be called a receiver/drier. They are available on-line.

It's simple. All you have to do is take the part to Autozone and they will cross-reference it with their inventory and part identification software database and tell you what part it is and sell you the parts you need. Hope this helps!!!
