Best Muscle Car to Hotrod?

I want to start a project on a 1967 shelby mustang clone. One of the best if not the best muscle car platforms to start with. So here is my question taking in consideration of parts available, cars available what is the best MUSCLE CAR to Hotrod?

Best Muscle Car to Hotrod?

The classic '65-'70 Mustang has one of the largest aftermarket parts availability. Follow that by the '67-'69 Camaro and the '64-'72 GM A Bodies and you have a good start. But if you want a car where you can get most any part for it today, then you can't go wrong with a Mustang.
