Bleed your coolant

With the engine running, remove the radiator cap, turn heater on as hot as it will go (max fan speed too) and watch the bubbles come up and pop. Now add coolant untill it appears full. For some stubborn bubbles, tapping on the upper radiator hose with your thumb will dislodge them. Continue adding coolant and letting the air bubbles escape like this untill it is full and no more bubbles come out.

well yank out the tstat and just see. you can also take the tstat and put it in a pot of hot water, at least 250 degrees and see if it opens

T-stat
clogged radiator
faulty water pump
clogged radiator hoses
Wrong mixture of coolant/water

Various things. Or it could be your cooling fans aren't turning on when they need to be.

Could be thermostat, hoses or still plugged radiator as flushing it does not remove crud buildup.

yes a thermostat will make it run hot if it sticks closed or it could be the fan not working.
