Answers for Riding Level 10?

I keep getting 8 out of 10 right, and I can't figure out which one I'm getting wrong, so please help

1 - Thoroughbreds are considered one year older on which two dates (one for the northern hemisphere, one for the southern)?
January First
May First
August First
October First

2 - What is a snip?
A small mark on the muzzle
A broad marking down the front of the horse's face
A marking found high up between the eyes
A long straight marking down to the horse's nose

4 - The book "Black Beauty" played a significant role in the development of today’s animal welfare laws and regulations.

Answers for Riding Level 10?

1 - in the norhtern hemisphere thoroughbreds are taken from january 1st. in the southern hemisphere ( i think) it is august 1st (im not totally positive on that second part!!! - find an aussie - they'll know)!!!

2. a small mark on the muzzle

4 - True (again i THINK). it focussed much victorian attention on the raw deal given to horses during their work especially those used as taxis in cities and hauling enormous loads in various industries etc.

6. hmm, not sure... sorry!!! might be quite easy to find out tho if you google "oldest horse breed" or check out those breed society pages on the web.

8. the part of the neck just behind the ears

9. not sure as im from uk - some sort of national park maybe?? again, look up mustangs on line im sure itll tell u.
