2007 Ford Mustang question?

Ok folks, here's a strange one. I got in my car this afternoon and had a hell of a hard time shifting in to drive. After I finally got it in drive, I realized the shifter boot had ripped. I have an automatic mustang, so the boot is not like a leather cover that just moves around. This "boot" is a circle of rubbery material that is connected on both ends, also controlling the color piece that indicates whether you are in drive, park, etc. Anyone know where I can replace this piece? Or do I need a whole new automatic shifter set?

A Ford dealer can most likely order the boot for you. You shouldn't need to replace the whole assembly. They'll be able to help you figure out exactly what parts you need to replace.
