What do I do with a 83 Mustang that's engine is gone?

We have a 1983 Mustang in which the engine was overheated and it appears to be cracked. The car is in pretty good shape otherwise. About the only other thing it really needs is a new covertible roof. What is our best option?
Sell for parts
Sell as car "as is"
Trade it for different car (that we need)
Purchase a new engine and have it installed

wow...the only few years mustangs sucked. lol. anyway, i would probably put a new engine in it, most people arent looking at 83's for project cars.
try and find a used, rebuilt engine. probably the cheapest, most cost effective way to go.

The average life of a vehicle is 10 years. You got 23 years of ot that one. Find a crusher and sell it for scrap metal. It's not worth a thing as a trade. And I wouldn't put several thousand into a vehicle that is not worth $500 by doing an engine.
