How much would it cost me to upgrade a mustang 1988 to 5.0?

this guy said go to the junk yard but i dont know how muchnits gonna cost me and can somebody tell me what are the best parts at affordable prices

if you have a mechanic do it, it will cost about 10k.
if you do it yourself it might only cost 5 or 6k and a f@#k load of time, just go buy a car with a 5lt

Start at the rad and replace everything including it all the way to and including the rear diff . IE: rad hoses, engine wiring, front springs, ecu , trans, drive shaft , rear end, Costs more than the car is worth unless that puppy is in awsome shape
