Can I fit a 572 Chevy Big Block in a 2004 mustang?

i have a 04 convertible mustang gt. everything is customized, but it has a lot of km's. i saw a cheap 572 big block for sale and i want to know if it will fit so i can buy it.

Why? Why would you put a crappy motor in a good car? It's way too much work just to fit that in there in the first place. Stick with the 4.6. That, and if the 572 is going for cheap, I would imagine it is either stolen, or it has so many issues (like all chevies... tee hee) that it isn't worth building. The 4.6 (presumably) has more than enough snot to get the job done.

thts a pretty big engine for a not so big car but im sure its possible

It takes a bigshoe horn to do with.....Lots of problems, like suspension and strut towers collapsing.....just a few to think about......

Yes, But you would have to make custom motor mounts.
