No matter what way you want to look at it even if the Mustang has more HP or certain incentives that the G37 does not have, swapping your Infiniti G37 coupe for a Mustang is a downgrade. Had this been a Challenger into a Mustang then that would be more relevant to contemplate, but as for trading in an Infiniti G37 for a Mustang GT thats beyond me unless you have financial issues which by all means I recommend you trade the vehicle if its breaking your wallet. For the most part the Mustang is an economical sports coupe rivaling competitors in this popular market such as the Camaro, Challenger, Nissan 370z, RX8 etc etc. The Infiniti G37 enters an entirely different segment in the automobile market. The G37 is a pure luxury & performance sports coupe which in consequence makes it a direct rival to other manufacturers in the luxury market consisting of the Audi A5, BMW 3 series coupe, Mercedes E-class coupe & the Cadillac CTS coupe. The Mustang however is a great alternative if your looking to keep the offerings of a sports car but on a more economical level. Nevertheless you can not compare the driving dynamics of an Infiniti or a BMW next to a Ford mustang, its simply a different experience as a whole. The G37 is a refined luxury vehicle for those with expectation that exceed more then just power & performance, where as the Mustang is a muscle car looking to impress your average Joe. Although by no means am I saying the mustang is a bad car, its a great alternative to other vehicles but its not exactly on par with the popular Top dogs in the luxury market. The Mustang appeals to an entirely different driver with other expectations opposed to the driver of an Infiniti.
