Crunch the numbers! Check on a 1998 Mustang that is running verse time and effort to put in another motor $$$$$$ You, will probley have the same price after you get done. Providing you can do the work yourself ! Wrecking Yard! price about $200.00 parts are worth more than the car itself. If you can do the work yourself in the least amount of time and money, I would offer about $50-$75.00 more then the wrecking yard. Towing impound yards, you can pick up used cars, just for the towing and storage lien, for about $300.00 complete.

Its not worth more than $50-100 above what a junkyard would give for it at the most.

Call & ask, Im guessing they would give $75-150.
