Bullitt - No spare

I recently bought a Bullitt and discovered that there is no spare or tire tools in the car! Instead Ford was kind enough to provide a one time use compressor/sealant contraption that sits where the spare is supposed to. Not to mention this contraption expires in less than 2 years. I really don't see this being anymore beneficial than a can of fix-a-flat. Does anyone else see a problem with this or can anyone explain the reasoning behind this?

I can't explain it, but I Think the fix a flat is about as useful as the cheesy donut spare they give you anyhow.

Not for me..the times I've actually needed a spare there was either not enough tire to drive on or not enough rim...

Did your car come with run-flats? The vette did and it doesn't have a spare or anything.

Mark...we're talking about Ford, I don't think they know they're invented yet...

Don't you know why, They save money. The shelby GT comes the same way. I spoke with someone and the slime has a two year dating. He recomended that at 1 3/4 years you go to the dealer and get ew one under warranty 3/36k

Re: Bullitt - No spare

dealer says may be runflats like the shelby? BF Goodrich says otherwise...I side with lowflyn when I have needed a spare in the past, the foam wouldn't have helped any way.
