Engine Swap...Help???

Hello, I have a question, Not sure if anyone has an answer lol. I have a 1998 V6 auto mustang, I just bought a crashed 2000 auto Mustang GT. I bought it specificaly for the 4.6, harness, ecm, etc. Since then a know it all buddy of mine that hates Fords told me that it would not be possible to put my 4.6 from my 2000 GT into my 1998 V6 because of the brake setup. Anyone know if putting the 4.6 from the newer body style into my older body style would work? If so is the brake booster really an issue? Or any for seen issues I would have? Thank you all

The 4.6 has been in them since '96. Just swap the whole k-frame and drivetrain. I'd be more worried about the electronic side of things than the physical. We know it'll bolt up, getting the electronics working will be the fun part.
