If you retrofit your own housings yes...if you buy a premade setup though i think you're gonna be disappointed. Id rather run stock halogens but thats just my opinion after seeing some in person at night.

Yes they are illegal.

If done properly you will get better vision and no trouble from police. Those setups cost $600-800

Where can I retrofit for $800? Most of the places I have looked are more than that.

If I could really find it for $600, I would probably jump on that.

There's a few smaller companies that will do it for that

Do you know of any you might recommend? I would love to retrofit my stockers but, I have had trouble finding it for less than $1000.

build it yourself...there's some nice step by steps online. i'd retrofit if i had the $300 needed for the proper projectors. until then though i'l run my HIDs because i will never run the normal aftermarket projectors

From what I have read, the stockers are a nightmare to crack open. I work way too much to dedicate that kind of time to it. (tomorrow is my first day off in two weeks and then I am back at it Sunday) I'd rather let a pro do it.

The Raxioms are not bad. The only reason I want to retrofit is to have projectors that can handle 55w instead of 35w.

the only projectors i'd do the swap with would be HID projectors not the halogen ones the raxioms use. if i'm gonna spend the money to retrofit i'm using the bright stuff lol. a lot of retrofits are normally done on a new spare set of headlights..you could always buy a new set then do the retrofit over time when you have the chance.

The low beams are absolute sh*t but the brights are perfect... The only thing bad is driving back roads when your driving by ppl w/o brights on
