Look up the black book value on your truck and don't take a dime less. That's the price they can sell it for at auction in your area. In most states your trade in value is deducted from what the taxable amount is. Example: truck 20k, car 30k, sales tax based on 10k.

But anyways that is just me, some people will be better with the toys on a GT than the Performance on the boss. It is all just my opinion.
Oh ok, I thought you meant new. I did see a new 12 last year for 39k at maroone ford of miami. It had 800 miles on it though which was weird.

I'm not sure where you're at in So-Cal but I've got a guy out there who will give you a legit deal and will make sure you get the most for your trade. If I were still in So-Cal he's the only guy I'd buy cars from. Dan Hernandez / Santa Margarita Ford - 949-456-5855. You will not get a better deal than the deal you will get from Dan.

Tell him Boozer referred you.

So much good advice on haggling and playing the numbers game in here...love this forums!

Gives me hope that I'll have my own 6 banger in a week or two once I can make the price right somewhere. Im hoping the 2014's will make the 11-13's more affordable

No I haven't bud just because I'm waiting to see what happens when I pick up my truck sometime next week from the dealership. If nothing happens then I will for sure give him a call. Or should I do it anyway?

I'm going to test drive some used mustangs this weekend, what do you guys think a fair price for 2012 v6 premium 6speed with 2.5k miles would be? They're asking 22.9, but I think with 2014 orders starting there has to be a way I can get them lower.

There's also a 2012 v6 6speed with 16k miles, they're asking $18.9...I was hoping to get them to 17-17.5

Suggestions?

With the invoice of a 2013-2014 being around 23k, I dont know how the 11-12's can be so close to that.

Another great dealer to look at in SoCal is Villa Ford in Orange. They get Mustangs (the owner sponsors the OC Mustang Club & the SVT rep is the club president). I always go through the fleet guys Julian or Gary.

...just saw you are in Palm Springs. It's a drive, but IMHO would be worth looking at.
