What should I use to clean the throttle body?

I was wondering how i should go about cleaning the throttle body on my 95 mustang. Above the TB it says not to use cleaners because the TB is coated in a special coating. But then again my throttle body has alot of black build up on it what should I use to clean it?

You can pull the IAC off the side of the throttle body and use a cleaner at that point. I wouldn't scrub anything too hard, just use something like a electronics cleaner (milder than a carb cleaner) and let it do the work for you. I've used no contact electrical cleaner to clean all those parts and haven't run into any problems.
