We will never be able to force anyone to change Their opinion. The thing is, if u like auto, get the biggest, most bad a** one u can find. If its a manual, drop that clutch like its hot! To say one is better than the other is purely opinion. There is no need to browbeat your opinion into anyone's head. Just because I may like it, doesn't mean everyone has to like it.

I have the manual and drive about 3 hours, half in traffic. 2nd gear works great, lots of torque and not much time on the clutch. When the traffic lightens up, I feel like the dog who broke the leash.

Wrong car, wrong forum. Your car didn't come with the 6R80 so you're not comparing apples to apples.

Doesn't everyone have problems with the mt-82? I've seen hundreds of posts about the transmission problems with them.

The biggest issue with the MT-82 manual is they continually get spanked by the autos.

Free therapy! Sweet. I like manuals. Just thought the mt82 had a bunch of problems. Maybe they don't. Just wanted to point that out in case someone was a perspective buyer.

That's wonderful your much happier with your vehicle being manual. That's what its all about. Each individual being happy with there choice. If you feel like a bad *** because you drive manual, then Mazol Tov too you. Some people don't care about feeling the car drive. Some people want to just put the car in drive and go, look like a bad a$$ in there sweet, sexy looking pony. Last time I checked a automatic 5.0 will throw you back in your seat from a straight line acceleration just the same as a manual will. Is there really even a debate here? This is like debating, what is the nicest color? It all depends on what someone wants in there vehicle. For me, I just want to stomp on the go pedal and feel that pony pull me and hear the engine semi roar in a v6 way. Lol.

I didn't think there are many issues, I know not enough for there to be a recall, but now I am having issues with the synchros, I think, when it's cold. 5th and 6th will make a grinding noise when its cold, unless I double clutch. I don't, I just tested it when the problem was happening. It still does, but so far it hasn't been too much of an issue.

For me I don't care if you want to drive an auto, I just get annoyed when the auto guys want to talk about how there cars are better for drag times when they require so much less skill. As you said, stomp the pedal and go. That's about as hard as an auto gets.

My analogy still stands. Using a calculator for advanced math is like driving an auto. Doing it on paper is the manual. Everyone can do it with a calculator but few can do it without one.

Mine does for third. Only once though per drive session. Doesn't do it every cold start however.
