Well, since we're boasting here, I've handily blown a hole in several 5.0s at track, auto and manual, in my fat-*** loaded BBP car on MT and 3.73s, stock for stock.

Now, I'm "deep into the mods" with a Procal tune, GT500s, a shifter bracket, LCAs and Roush upper, sooooo, now it's totally unfair because I'm "not stock".

Some of us just don't feel like shifting anymore... our legs and back r tired of it. I test drove a stick before I bought my auto and I just was tired driving in the traffic before I finishd the test drive. Not to mention I let my wife drive once in awhile and of course she can't drive a stick. IMO Auto and stick r theSame.... they're both just transmissions. The real important part is the car their wrapped around

I can understand that, but I got a manual (this car for that matter) was because of getting older and having advanced arthritis in my hips. Eventually, I won't be able to drive a stick. I'm not confident that getting hip replacements will make it so I can still handle a manual tranny. I wanted to get one while I can still do it and have fun.

I feel the same way some times. That's why my F150 is an auto.
